Facete Support
Setup guidance and answers to common questions.
Getting started
- Obtain an API key from the model provider you want to use.
- Open Secure Vault in Facete and add the endpoint, API key, and model.
- Review and allow the third-party AI data-sharing disclosure, then start chatting.
API keys are stored in the system Keychain. Requests connect directly from your device to the selected provider; Facete does not relay them.
Plans
The App is free to download. Plus is an auto-renewable 1-year subscription, while Premium is a one-time lifetime purchase. Both unlock the applicable unlimited model profiles, full Pulse history, and iCloud sync. StoreKit displays the localized price for your App Store region.
You can cancel Plus anytime in your Apple Account subscription settings. Access continues until the current subscription period ends. AI-provider usage fees are separate and are paid directly by you.
Account and data
Facete requires no registration or sign-in and does not use Sign in with Apple. Purchases and restoration are handled by Apple StoreKit.
Chats and settings are local by default, API keys are in the Keychain, and optional iCloud sync is off by default. Before data is sent to a model provider, Facete shows what will be shared and requests permission. See the Privacy Policy.
Restore and iCloud
Use My → Purchases → Restore Purchases to restore Plus or Premium. Plus and Premium users can enable iCloud sync under My → Storage.
